9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. Job 37:9
9 Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and [qarah..coolness, cold.] cold out of the [mezarim, mezareh..a scatterer, scattering winds, the north wind.] north. Job 37:9 Cold comes from the north..It is cold in the north..Wind carries cold from the north..Winds from the north are cold..Cold is carried in the air (wind)..Scattering winds carry cold from the north..Wind scatters the cold.
6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits. Ecclesiastes 1:6
Wind goes to the south..Wind turns about..Wind turns to the north..Wind whirls about..Wind is continually whirling about..Wind returns to where it came from..Wind returns again according to his sabib..round about (incl. above), on every side, a circle. The wind is travelling in a circle (circuit). Ecclesiastes 1:6
6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the [tsaphon..gloomy, dark, hidden, unknown, north/ side, northern /side, northward, north wind.] north; Ecclesiastes 1:6 It is dark and gloomy in the north.

Job 37:9 Darkness is cold..Darknesss is gloomy..Darkness is cold and gloomy..Things are hidden in the dark..Darkness hides its secrets.
The earth is a circle. Isa 40:22 The northern section of the circular earth is cold and dark and gloomy.
The sun rises in the east..Numbers 2:3..and in the evening when I look towards the west, I see the setting sun. The sun is not travelling around the earth, because, the sun is travelling in a circuit from one end of heaven (the Milky Way Galaxy..Psalm 19:4-6..Eg: the stars are in heaven, galaxies. Deut 1:10) to the other..If the sun is travelling in a circuit from one end of the Milky Way Galaxy to the other, and the sun rises over the earth in the east, and sets in the west, then, the earth is rotating to the east and then to the west in the presence of the sun, and the earth is being carried along with the sun in its circuit from one end of the Milky Way Galaxy to the other.
If the earth is rotating to the east and then to the west in the presence of the sun, and the northern part of the earth is cold and dark and gloomy, then, the southern part of the earth must also be cold and dark and gloomy.

Cold wind heads from the north toward the south, and the wind turns about toward the north; and the wind whirls about continually, and the wind returns again according to his sabib..round about (incl. above), on every side, circuit, compass, a circle. Ecclesiastes 1:6
Before the cold wind heads from the north to the south, the wind has to be set in motion.
What sets the wind in motion?
The circular earth which is spinning in space is surrounded by a blanket of air, & the movement of the earth as it rotates, & the heat of, & also the Spraying of the Gigantic Sun sets the air which surrounds the earth, in motion.
Winds are scattered about the earth by heat which comes from the light of the sun.
24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? Job 38:24

Hot and Cold.
Hot air rises and cold air sinks.
15 My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away;
16 Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid:
17 What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place. Job 6:15-17
As the sun rises up and travels over the equator (earth), the part of the earth over which the sun travels gets hotter and hotter. Exodus 16:21..1 Samuel 11:9..Nehemiah 7:3..and the light of the sun warms the earth and it’s waters..Job 39:14..Job 6:15-17..and vapours (the wind, air) begin/s to rise..Job 6:15-17..Genesis 2:6..Psalm 135:7..Jeremiah 10:13..Jeremiah 51:16..as cooler vapours from colder places move in to fill the empty spaces.
Why is it cold at the poles?
It is cold at the poles because the circular earth is rotating, under the sun, to the east and then to the west, and the north and the south poles are receiving less of the sun’s warmth and light.

Out of the cold cometh the whirlwind. Cold air, moving or rushing in, from cooler areas, causes hurricanes and tornadoes to whirl.
Whirlwind: Suphah..storm, tempest, hurricane, whirlwind.
