Here is the scripture.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26
Here is the scripture with the Hebrew meanings of the words “creeping” and “creepeth” included.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every [øîù? remes´say reh’-mes a reptile or any other rapidly moving animal: – that creepeth, a creeping (creature, thing), creepers, moving thing. From 7430 (creepers, Interlinear.) See Strongs 7431] creeping thing that [øîù? ra^mas´say raw-mas Primitive root; to glide swiftly, move with short steps or to crawl; to swarm: – move, (to) creep, creeping, crawl. See Strongs 7430] creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26
Here is the scripture with some of the words.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every reptile that creepeth and glides swiftly in swarms upon the earth.
Flocks of flying reptiles crept upon the earth, and they swiftly glided throughout the skies.
Millions of years ago there were many different types of reptiles upon the earth. There were reptiles huge and small, creeping, crawling, and gliding in the waters that were upon the earth, and there were both gigantic and small reptiles called dinosaurs who crept, crawled, and walked upon the surface of the earth, there were also reptiles called rhamphorhynchoids, pterosaurs pterodactyls, pteranodon, pterodaustro, and quetszalcoatus who crept, crawled, and walked upon the earth, and who glided throughout the skies that were above the earth.
In a time that was called the Mesozoic era which was between 245 million to 65 million years ago reptiles lived upon the earth.
Rhamphorhynchoids were a type of pterosaur, they lived in the late Triassic period which was at the beginning of the Mesozoic era.
Rhamphorhynchoids were long winged featherless, flying reptiles, they had long bodies, long necks, long heads, long beaks with teeth, long bony tails, legs that were attached to their long wings, and feet that had claws. Rhamphorhynchoids died out (became extinct) in the Jurassic era which was a time during the middle of the Mesozoic era.
Pterodactyls were similar to the rhamphorhynchoids. Some of the pteradactyls were the size of small birds while others, who appeared near the end of the Cretaceous era (the last part of the Mesozoic era) were quite large, with heads, that were longer than their bodies. The pterodactyls bones were hollow, and light, and the reptiles also had short tails. Pterodactylus a smaller and earlier pterodactyl with a wingspread of about 2.5 feet, and who lived nearing the end of the Jurassic era had long narrow jaws and sharp teeth. Later pterodactyls called Pteranodon did not have teeth.
Fossils (the petrified remains) of flying reptiles (pterodactylus) were found in Germany (Europe) in the 1700’s, fossils were also found in Africa.
Scientists call Paleontologists studied the fossils of the flying reptiles, and from their studies they were able to put together stories from the information they obtained.
Fossils of Pteranodon were found in North America and England. Pteranodons lived during the latter stages of the Cretacious era. Pteranodon had a wingspread of about 25ft they were the largest of the pteradactyls. Pteranodons had long bony crests growing out from the backs of their heads, they had long legs and large webbed feet. With their longwings and longnecks, the toothless long beaked pteranodons, probably glided through the air across water and the sea, and scooped up fish, as they swam on the surface of the waters, swallowing the fish whole, and storing them in the pouches beneath their beaks.
Pterodaustro had a wingspread that was about 4 feet, they lived in South America in the early stages of the Cretacious period. Pterodaustro had a long upward curving beak, the lower jaw of the beak was lined with hundreds of long teeth, while the upper jaw had small teeth that were used by the reptile to comb through the lower teeth, they had large feet, and small claws. Pterodaustro probably flew over the sea, and used his teeth to filter out water, before he swallowed his scooped up food of plankton, krill and fish.
Quetszalcoatus lived in Texas at the end of the Cretacious era, over 60 million years ago. The body of this flying reptile was about 20 feet long, its wingspread was roughly 40 feet, it had a long neck and a beak that was about 6 feet long. The diet of this reptile is not known by scientists, they seem to think it may have been some type of scavenging reptile living of the carcases of dead animals. Looking at the beak of Quetszalcoatus which doesn’t appear to be sharp and or shaped for ripping into flesh, he probably ate fish, and other food from rivers and streams.
The flying reptile birds that were not to be eaten, and who are mentioned in the book of Leviticus 11:20 who walked upon all four legs upon the earth, were probably the descendent of, the Pterodactyls.
Here is the scripture.
20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. Leviticus 11:20
Here is the scripture with Hebrew meanings placed before the words “fowls” “creep” and “four”.

Sprawl: Sit or lie with the limbs spread out (in a straggling manner). Lie or sit about awkwardly.
Flocks of pterodactyls awkwardly crept and crawled with small steps upon all fours upon the face of the earth, and they sat with their wings spread out in straggling manners, and they flapped their wings and lifted themselves up off the earth, and they glided throughout the skies.
Millions of years ago upon the Earth, both the sun and the moon shone light and heat upon one gigantic equatorial piece of land that was surrounded by the waters of one sea. The climate of the land was hot and humid with little seasonal change all year round. There was an abundance of rain and numerous tropical storms, and the land was lush and green with vegetation, and there were prehistoric animals called Dinosaurs, and Pterodactyls and other animals and creatures and birds and insects living upon the land, and in the waters of the sea that surrounded the land, and also in the waters of the rivers and streams and lakes that were upon, and flowed across the land. But the moon began to burn out, and the gigantic piece of land began to cool down as the season changed to seasons. And the land, bearing it animals and creatures, and birds, and insects, and plants, began to break up into massive slabs of earth called continents, some of which slowly spread out and away from the equatorial heat, towards the sometimes dark and gloomy north and south poles. And the moon burned out, and prehistoric Dinosaurs, and Pterodactyls and other animals and creatures and birds and insects and plants, were not able to adapt to the cold, and they all died out.
