H8231 .. Ancient word from which other words descend; to glisten, i.e. (figuratively) be (causatively make) fair: – to be fair, goodly, beautiful.
Aurora. The dawn, Bands of light sometimes seen in the sky in the Polar Regions. Lights in the atmosphere seen radiating from regions of the poles. A luminous electrical radiation from (borealis) northern or (australis) southern magnetic pole.
Aurora Australis. Auroroa, seen near the South Pole.
Auroara Borealis. Aurora, seen near the North Pole.
Borealis. Northern lights.
Australis. Similar lights in S. Polar sky.
The northern aurora is called aurora borealis. The southern aurora is called the aurora australis; dawn.
