The continual movements of (water in it’s “four states”) the (whirling Eccles 1:6) cloud (atmosphere, air) of [gases??] vapour and small (dust) fragments (& eg: pollen, seeds, & H2344 [whirling] sand, etc, etc, Job 14:19) of dust on every side of the earth, are continually reducing the earth [and it’s life forms and vegetation, etc, etc, ] to (small) pieces, portions, fragments (by pulverizing [it, the earth] with constant [beatings] (rubbing) friction.) abrasion.

19 The waters wear the stones: thou washest away the things which grow out of the dust of the earth; and thou destroyest the hope of man. The Holy Bible Job 14:19

Comminute.
Reduce (wear down) to small pieces, portions, fragments.

Triturate.
Grind (pulverize) to paste, dust, powder.

Attrition.
Friction, abrasion, Wearing away of (matter, the strong) strength, rubbing away, act of wearing away (strength, matter) by (rubbing) friction, constant (beatings) wearing down to weaken or destroy, gradual exhaustion, gradually exhausting. e.g. War of attrition.
