66. The Messiah fed five thousand people on five loaves of bread and two fishes.
And there were twelve baskets of food left over.

13 When Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
14 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to [G3772 heaven (as the abode of God), etc,] heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.
22 And straightway Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. Matt 14:13-22

12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

When the disciples had finished burying John Baptist, they returned and told Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ everything that they had done.

When Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ heard about it, he said to the disciples, Come by yourselves into a desert place, and rest for a while: for there were many people coming and going, and they didn’t have enough time to rest and eat.

And he took them privately by ship and they went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias, to a place in the desert that belonged to the city of Bethsaida.

And the people saw them leaving, and many of the people knew him, and when they knew he was going, a great multitude of people followed him, and they ran on foot out of all of the cities, to the desert, and they got there before him.

And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ went up into a mountain, and he sat there with his disciples.
And the passover, a feast of the Jews was near.

And when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ came down from the mountain, he lifted up his eyes, and he saw a great multitude of people come to him, and he received them, and he was moved with pity toward them, because they were like sheep that didn’t have a shepherd: and he healed the sick people that were among them, and he began to teach them about the kingdom of God. Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ healed the sick [first] (before he preached to them).

And when the evening had come, his twelve disciples came to him, and said, This is a place in the desert, and it is getting late: send the multitude away, so they can go into the country round about, and into the villages, and lodge there, and buy themselves some [broma, artos, episitimos] food: because they don’t have anything to eat.

But Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to them, They don’t need to go; and he said to Phillip, you give them something to eat.(Where will we buy bread, that these people may eat?)

He said this to test him: because he knew himself what he was going to do.

Phillip said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Two hundred pennies worth of bread, is not enough for them, so that everyone of them can take a little.

Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to the disciples, How many loaves do you have? go and see, and when they knew, One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

There is a boy here, who has five loaves of barley bread and two little fishes: but what are they among so many, unless we go and buy food for all of these people.

Because there were about five thousand men.

And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said, Bring them here to me.

And he commanded his disciples to get the people to sit down by fifties in companies upon the green grass, And the disciples did so.

Now there was a lot of grass there. So the men sat down, in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties, numbering about five thousand.

Then Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ took the five loaves and the two fishes, and he looked up to heaven, and he gave thanks, and he broke the loaves, and he distributed the loaves to his disciples, to set before the multitude, and he also distributed the two fishes among his disciples, and the disciples gave to the seated multiude, as much of the fishes as they wanted.

And they all ate, and they were all filled.

And when they were full, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to his disciples, Gather up the pieces that are left, so that nothing is wasted.

So they gathered them up, and they filled twelve baskets with the pieces of five barley loaves and the two fishes that were left over from those that had eaten.

And those who had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Then the men, who had seen the miracle that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ did, said, This is truly that prophet that should come into the world.

And immediately, when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ saw that they were going to come and take him by force, and make him a king, he compelled his disciples to get into the ship, and go ahead of him to the other side of the sea, while he sent the multitudes away.

And then, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ left again and he went into the mountain alone.
