The Messiah said that a chief people, exceeding above him, very highly more (than) him, were going to do things to him!

31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. Luke 18:31

For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: Luke 18:32

The Messiah said that (the Gentiles) a people who were “over” him, above, superior to, more than, him, very chiefest, exceeding above, very highly more (than) him, were going to jeer at him, deride him and mock him and they were going to exercise violence against him, abuse him, entreat him shamefully, entreat him spitefully, use him despitefully, dishonour him, reproach him, be insolent to him, be over bearing, would insult him, injure him, hurt him, harm him, & spit on him. [See also. The Messiah was “A Prophet!” Luke 18:32  The Messiah prophesied.
