16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. Lke 4:16-21

Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said that he was the expected Messiah.
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; Isa 61:1,2..18
.
18 The Spirit of the Lord on me, for which thing he anoyntide me; he sente me to preche to pore men, to hele contrite men in herte,
19 and to preche remyssioun to prisoneris, and siyt to blynde men, and to delyuere brokun men in to remissioun; to preche the yeer of the Lord plesaunt, and the dai of yeldyng ayen. Wycliffe Lke 4:18,19

22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town. Mk 8:22-26

Bartimaeus.
The man who was blind.

As Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ and his disciples were leaving Jericho a great multitude of people were following him.

And, a blind man by the name of Bartimaeus, who was the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the side of the road begging.

And he heard the multitude of people passing by, so he asked what was happening.

And someone told him that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ of Nazareth was passing by.

And when he heard that is was Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ of Nazareth, he started calling out, and saying, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ you son of David, have mercy on me.

And many people told him to be quiet: but he called out to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ a lot more, saying, You son of David, have mercy on me.

So Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ stood still, and he asked for the man to be brought to him: so some of the people called out to Bartimaeus and they said, Be of good comfort, get up, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ is calling you.

So Bartimaeus cast away his garment, and he got up, and he went to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, and when he was close to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to him, What would you like me to do for you? Bartimaeus said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Lord, I would like you to give me sight.

So Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ had pity on him, and he touched his eyes: and he said to him: Here is your sight: your faith has made you see. And straight away Bartimaeus could see, and he followed Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ on his way, glorifying God:
and all of the people, when they saw what had happened, gave praise to God.

The two blind men.

27 And when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it.
31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country. Matt 9:27-31

After Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ had raised a young girl from the dead, and as he left that place, two blind men started to follow him, and they were calling out to him and they were saying, You son of David, have mercy on us.

And when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ came into the house, the blind men came to him: and Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛  said to them Do you believe that I can do this? and they said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Yes, Lord.

So Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ touched their eyes, and he said, As you have believed it has happened to you.

And they could see; then straight away Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ asked them, and said, Don’t tell anyone about it.

But when the two blind men left the house, they went and told everybody in all of that country about Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, and about how he had given them their sight.

46. The blind beggar.

9:1 And as Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
8 The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?
9 Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.
10 Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?
11 He answered and said, A man that is called Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
12 Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
13 They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.
14 And it was the sabbath day when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was The Messiah, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
27 He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
28 Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.
29 We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.
30 The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
33 If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
35 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
39 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
6 This parable spake Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
7 Then said Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? Jn 9:1-41 and Jn 10:1-21

The blind beggar.

1 And as Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ was passing by, he saw a man who was born blind.
2 And the disciples said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ , Master, Why was this man born blind, did he sin, or was it his parents sin?
3 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said, *This man has not sinned, neither have his parents: he was born blind so that the works of God should be shown in him.
4 I must do the works of him that sent me, while it is day, because the night is coming, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 When he had said that, he spat on the earth, and he mixed some earth with his spittle and he made clay, and he anointed the blind man’s eyes with the clay,
7 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to the blind man, Go, and wash yourself in the pool of Siloam, (which means, Sent.) The blind man then went on his way, and he washed himself, and when he came back he could see.
8 Then the blind man’s neighbours, and everyone who had seen the man before, and knew that he had been blind, said, isn’t this the man who used to sit and beg?
9 Some of the people said, Yes, that’s him, and some of them said, He looks like him: and the man who used to be blind said, I am that man.
10 Then the people said to the man who had been blind, How were your eyes opened?
11 And the man said, A man by the name of Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ made some clay, and he anointed my eyes, and he asked me to go and wash myself in the pool of Siloam, and I went and washed myself, and then I could see.
12 Then the people said to the man, Where is the man? and he said, I don’t know.
13 Then the people took the man who had been blind to the Pharisees.
14 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ had made the clay and opened the eyes of the man who had been blind on a Saterday (the sabbath day).
15 Then the Pharisees asked the man again how he had received his sight. And the man said to them, He anointed my eyes with clay, and I had a wash, and then I could see.
16 Then some of the Pharisees said, This man isn’t of God, because he is not keeping the Saterday (sabbath day). Other Pharisees said, How can a man who is a sinner do miracles like this? And the Pharisees were divided.
17 The Pharisees said to the man who had been blind again, What do you have to say about this man who opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 But the Jews did not believe that the man had been blind and received his sight, so they called the parents of the man who had been blind.
19 And they asked them, and they said, Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How is it that he can see now?
20 The parents of the man who had been born blind, said to them, We know that he is our son, and we know that he was born blind:
21 But why he can see now, we don’t know; and we don’t know who opened his eyes, he is old enough; ask him: and he will speak for himelf.
22 The man’s parents spoke these words, because they were frightened of the Jews: because the Jews had already agreed, that if any person confessed that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ was The Messiah, that person was to be put out of the synagogue.
23 That is why his parents said, He is old enough; ask him.
24 Then they called that man who had been blind again, and they said to him, Give God the glory: because we know that this man is a sinner.
25 The man said, Whether he is a sinner or not I don’t know, but one thing I do know, I was blind, and now I can see.
26 Then they said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?
27 He said, I have already told you, and you didn’t hear me: why do you want to hear it again? are you going to be his disciples too?
28 Then they [loidoreo] vilified him, and they said, You are his disciple; we are disciples of Moses.
29 We know that God spoke to Moses: as for this fellow, we don’t know where he came from.
30 The man said to them, Well this is a marvellous thing, you don’t know where he came from, and yet he has opened my eyes.
31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners: but if any one is a worshipper of God, and does God’s will, God hears that person.
32 Since the world began it has never been heard that any one ever opened the eyes of someone who was born blind?
33 If this man was not of God, then he couldn’t do anything.
34 They answered and they said to him, You were born in sins, and you teach us? And they [ekballo..excommunicate, expel, send out, put out, cast out, thrust out, drive out] put him out out of the synagogue.
35 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ heard that they had [ekballo..excommunicate, expel, send out, put out, cast out, thrust out, drive out] put him out of the synagogue, and when he found him, he said to him, Do you believe in the Son of God?
36 And he said, Who is he, Lord, so that I can believe in him?
37 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to him, You have seen him, and it is he who is talking to you.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he fell [proskun] down and worshipped him.
39 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said, For judgment I have come into this world, so that those who cannot see, can see; and that those who can see, might be made blind.
40 And some of the Pharisees who were with him heard what he said, and they said to him, Are we also blind?
41 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin: but now you say, We can see; Therefore your sin remains.
1 Truly, truly, I tell you, Whoever does not enter into the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, that person is a thief and a robber.
2 But the shepherd of the sheep enters into the fold by the door.
3 The keeper of the door opens the door for the shepherd; and the sheep hear the shepherds voice, and the shepherd calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out.
4 And when he leads his own sheep out, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: because they know his voice.
5 But they wont follow a stranger, they will run away from a stranger, because they do not know the voice of strangers.
6 Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ spoke this parable to them: but they didn’t understand the things that he had spoken to them.
7 Then again Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 All those who came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enters in, he shall be saved, and he shall go in, and he shall go out, and he shall find pasture.
10 The thief comes to steal, and to kill, and destroy: I have come that they might have life, and that they might have a more abundant life.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.
12 But the hired servant, who is not the shepherd, and who does not own the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, he leaves the sheep, and he runs away: and the wolf catches the sheep, and the wolf scatters the sheep.
13 The hired servant runs away, because he is a hired servant, and he doesn’t care about the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep, and my sheep know me.
15 As the Father knows me, I know the Father: and I give my life for the sheep.
16 And I have other sheep, who are not of this fold: I must also bring them, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one fold, with one shepherd.
17 Therefore my Father loves me, because I give my life, that I might take my life again.
18 No man takes it from me, but I give my life myself. I have power to give my life, and I have power to take my life back again. I have received this commandment from my Father.
19 And the Jews were divided again because of these sayings.
20 And many of them said, He has a devil, and he is mad; why are you listening to him?
21 Some of the other Jews said, These are not the words of a man who has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind. Jn 9:1-41 and Jn 10:1-21

*The Messiah might be saying: *It is not this man’s fault, neither is it his parents fault: that he was born blind. Eg: Rom 3:23
