Gen 1:14 And the Supreme [H430] God said, Let there be chandeliers in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Gen 1:15 And let them be for chandeliers in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:16 And the Supreme [H430] God made two great chandeliers (H853 entity; properly self etc..); the greater chandelier to rule the day, and the lesser chandelier to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Gen 1:17 And the Supreme [H430] God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

Gen 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and the Supreme [H430] God saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

.

Lights. H3974 [([(מארה מאורה מאר מאור mâ’ôr mâ’ôr me’ôrâh me’ôrâh (1,2) maw-ore’, (3,4) meh-o-raw’)])] From H215; correcly a luminary a luminous body, that is, (abstractly) light (as an element); figuratively brightness, that is, cheerfulness; specifically a chandelier: – bright, light.

God. H430 [(אלהים ‘ĕlôhı̂ym el-o-heem’)] Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and occasionally as a superlative: – God (gods) (-dess, -ly), (very) great, exceeding, judges, mighty, angels.

Night. H3916 [(לילה ליל ליל layil lêyl layelâh lah’-yil, lale, lah’-yel-aw)] From the same as H3883; correctly a twist (away of the light), that’s, night; figuratively adversity: – ([mid-]) night (season).

H3883 [(לוּל lûl lool)] From an unused word from which others descend meaning to fold back; a spiral step: – winding stair. Compare H3924.

H3924 [(ללאה lûlâ’âh loo-law-aw’)] From the same as H3883; a loop: – loop.

The Earth is twisting, whirling [turning upside down Isa 24:1] in space as it annually, taking spiral steps, orbits The Gigantic Cables of The LORD God Almighty’s Gigantic Sun. Psalm 90:2 See: H2342 “formed.”

6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.
7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.
8 And when Herod saw Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.
9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.
10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.
11 And Herod with his [G4753 man of war, soldier, body of troops, army, armament. 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had [empaizo..mock, deride, jeer at] mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. Matt 27:27-31

.

16 And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
17 And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
18 And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
19 And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
20 And when they had [empaizo..mock, deride, jeer at] mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him. Mk 15:16-20

Pilate *mocked The Messiah??

4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.
5 Then came Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, *Behold the man! Jn 19:1-5

When Pilate heard Galilee mentioned, he asked if Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ was a Galilaean.
And as soon as he was told that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ was a Galilaean, he realized that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ belonged to the jurisdiction of Herod, so, he sent Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ to Herod, who happened to be at Jerusalem at the time.
And when Herod saw Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, he was very happy, because he had wanted to see him for a long time, because he had heard a lot of things about him; and he was hoping to see Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ perform a miracle.
Then he asked Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ a lot of questions, but Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ did not answer his questions.
And the chief priests and the scribes stood before Herod and they [eutonos] accused him strenuously.
And Herod with his [strateuma] army of soldiers [exoutheneo] treated Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ as if he was a worthless and contemptible person, and they [empaizo] treated him like a child, and they [periballo] threw a [lampros] gorgeous, [esthes] robe around him, and they sent him back to Pilate.

***

Then Pilate’s soldiers took Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ and led him into the common hall, called Praetorium; (Pilate’s office).

And Pilate flogged him.

And the soldiers gathered together the whole band of soldiers (a mass of men), and brought them to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛.

And they stripped him, and they put a scarlet (purple) robe on him.

And they platted a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and they put a cane in his right hand:

And they bowed their knees before him, and they worshipped him.

And they began to take him in their arms, and greet (welcome) him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

and they treated him like a child, and they jeered, and derided, and mocked him.

And they spat on him, and they repeatedly beat him with their hands.

And they took the cane and they repeatedly hit him on the head with the cane.

And when they had finished treating him like a child, and jeering him, and deriding him, and mocking him,

Then Pilate went out before the multitudes again, and he said to them, Behold, I bring him out to you, for you to know, that I find no crime in him.

Then Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ came outside, and he was wearing the crown of thorns, and the scarlet (purple) robe.

And Pilate said to them, See, he’s just a man!. The Messiah has been judged and found not guilty by Pilate and Herod, he has been flogged. Matt 27:26 & Mk 15:15 and is now, ready to be released.

But when the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, and said crucify him, crucify him. Pilate said to them, You take him, and crucify him: because I find no crime in him.

The Jews said to Pilate, We have a law, and by our law he should die, because he made himself the Son of [[G2316 [([θεός theos theh’-os])] Affinity uncertain; a deity, particularly (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: – exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward]] God.

When Pilate heard what the chief priests and the officers said, he became more frightened;

And he went into the judgment hall again, and he said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Where did you come from? But Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ did not answer him.

Then Pilate said to him, You will not speak to me? Don’t you know that I have the power to crucify you? and the power to [apoluo] set you free?

Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to Pilate, You could have no power at all against me, except it was given to you from above: therefore he that delivered me to you has the greatest sin.

And from that time on Pilate determined..Acts 3:13 (tried) to set Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ free: but the Jews cried out, If you set this man free, you are not Caesar’s friend: whoever makes himself a king is speaking against Caesar.

When Pilate heard what the Jews said, he brought Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ [exo..forth, out, without] outside, and he sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew language, Gabbatha.

And when he was seated, his wife sent a message ??by someone?? to him, and she said, Have nothing to do with that just man: because I have suffered many things today in a dream because of him..?Pilate wanting to release the Messiah (probably) thinks about the matter and (probably) decides to free the Messiah by asking the people to choose between The Messiah the innocent man, and Barrabas, the murderer and thief. Pilate’s reasoning (probably) tells him that the people will choose the Messiah.?

And it was about the sixth hour of the day of the preparing of the [pascha] passover.

Now at that [pascha] passover feast the governer released a prisoner to the people, which ever prisoner they wanted.

Because it was customary to free a prisoner at the feast.

And at that time they had a notable prisoner called Barabbas, a thief..Jn 18:40..who was bound in prison with those who had [sustasiastes..aided..abetted] helped him cause an [stasis] uprising in the city, and who had committed murder during the uprising.

Therefore when all of the people were gathered together, and the multitude was calling out to the governer to release a prisoner to them.

Pilate said to the people, Who (which prisoner) do you want me to release to you? Barabbas, or Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ which is called The Messiah the King of the Jews?

Because he knew that the chief priests had delivered him because they were jealous of him.

But the chief priests and the elders convinced the multitude to call for Barabbas to be freed, and [apollu] Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ to be killed.

Then Pilate said to them, Which one of the two would you like me to release to you. would you like me to give you the King of the Jews?

But the chief priests [anaseio] stirred up the people, so they would ask Pilate to give Barabbas to them.

And they all cried out again, and they said, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a thief.

And Pilate answered and said to them again, Then what do you want me to do to him, whom you call the King of the Jews?

And they all cried out together to him, and they said, Take him away, Take this man away, crucify him, and give us Barrabas.

And Pilate said to the Jews, Behold your King! Shall I crucify your King? and the chief priests cried out, We have no king but Caesar.  crucify him.

Then Pilate [boulomai] intending to set Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ free, said to them the *third time, Why, what evil has he done?
I have found no reason for him to be put to death..*Pilate made three attempts to set The Messiah free.

And with their loud voices they put pressure on Pilate to crucify, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛. And the voices of the multiude and of the chief priests [katischuo..prevailed] overpowered Pilate.

And when Pilate saw that he could not win, but that there was an uproar among the people, he took water, and he washed his hands before the multitude, and he said, I am not [atthoos..guiltless, innocent] guilty for the [haima..blood] death of this [dikaios..right, righteous, just] righteous person: you see to it.

Then all of the people answered and said, The responsibility for his [haima..blood] death be on us, and on our children.

And so Pilate [boulomai] willing to satisfy the people, [epikrino] passed the judgment that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ should be [prospegnumi..crucify, fix to..Acts 2:23] crucified.

And he released to the people Barabbas, who for [stasis] causing an uproar among the people and for murder was thrown into prison, the one that the people wanted.

16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them (the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, and the officers..The whole multitude..The whole council..The Jews..Jn 19:6,7,12-16..Matt 27:1,2..Mk 15:1..Lke 23:1) to be [stauroo.. impaled] crucified. Jn 19:16

16 And they (the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, and the officers..The whole multitude..The whole council..The Jews..Jn 19:6,7,12-16..Matt 27:1,2..Mk 15:1..Lke 23:1) took off the purple robe from Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, and put his own raiment (clothes) on him, and led him out to [stauroo..impale] crucify him. Matt 27:31..Mk 15:20..Jn 19:16

.

Then he delivered Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ to (the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, and the officers..The whole multitude..The whole council..
The Jews..Jn 19:6,7,12-16..Matt 27:1,2..Mk 15:1..Lke 23:1), to their desire, to be [prospegnumi..crucify, fix to..Acts 2:23] crucified.

And they (the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, and the officers..The whole multitude..The whole council..The Jews..Jn 19:6,7,12-16..Matt 27:1,2..Mk 15:1..Lke 23:1), took Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, and they took the scarlet (purple) robe off him, and they put his own clothes back on him, and they led him away. to crucify him.

And those who passed by [blasphemeo] defamed (injured) him with their speech, and they [kineo] shook their heads, and they said, Ah, you who were going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, Save yourself. If you are the Son of [G2316 [([θεός theos theh’-os])] Affinity uncertain; a deity, particularly (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: – exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward]  God, come down of that  [G4716 [(σταυρός stauros stow-ros’)] From the base of G2476; a stake or post (as set upright), that is, (specifically) a pole or cross (as an instrument of capital punishment); figuratively exposure to death, that is, self denial; by implication the atonement of The Messiah: – cross.]  cross.

And the ruling chief priests, and scribes and elders, also [ekmukterizo] turned their noses up at him, and they said, He saved others, he can’t save himself. If he is The Messiah, the King of Israel, the chosen one of God, let him now come down off that [stauros] cross, so we can see, and then we will believe him.

He put his faith in [G2316 [([θεός theos theh’-os])] Affinity uncertain; a deity, particularly (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: – exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward] God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him, because he said, I am the Son of [G2316 [([θεός theos theh’-os])] Affinity uncertain; a deity, particularly (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: – exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward] God.

And the soldiers also [empaizo] treated Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ like a child, and coming to him and offering him vinegar..
They said, If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself. Each of the soldiers may have taunted The Messiah with the reed containing the sponge filled with vinegar!

And one of the thieves who was [sustauroo] crucified with Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ also [blasphemeo] defamed (injured) Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ with his speech, and he said, If you are The Messiah, save yourself and us.

But the other thief rebuked him and said, Don’t you have any fear of [G2316 [([θεός theos theh’-os])] Affinity uncertain; a deity, particularly (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: – exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward] God, seeing that you [krima] also have been condemned to death.

And we truly righteously; because we are receiving what was the expected reward for our actions: but this man has done nothing [atopos] out of place.

And he said to Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom.

And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ said to him, Truly I say to you, [semeron] Today you will be with me in paradise.
