47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛should die for that nation;
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. Jn 11:47-53

Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people. Jn 18:14

And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away and brought him into the house of Caiaphas the high priest, and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes, and they led him to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. 11 God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked. Job 16:9-11

19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.
20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the [huperetes] officers which stood by struck Jesus with the [didomi rhapisma] palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

60 At the last came two false witnesses, Matt 26:60
and bare false witness against him, saying, Mk 14:57..Matt 26:61
58 We heard this fellow say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. Matt 26:61..Mk 14:58

68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Lke 22:67,68
70 Then said they all, Lke 22:70
70 Art thou then the Son of God? And Jesus said unto them, Lke 22:70..Matt 26:63,64..Mk 14:61,62
62 I am: and ye shall see me..Matt 16:13 (the Son of man) sitting on the right hand of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Matt 26:64..Mk 14:62..Lk 22:69,70

Jesus Christ was tried before Caiaiphas on the night of his arrest. John, the apostle who knew the high priest, records that Jesus Christ was taken from the garden of Gethsemane, to the palace of the high priest, where he was then tried by the council. John was in the palace at the time of the trial. John knew the high priest, and John obtained permission to take Peter into the palace of the high priest. Jn 18:15,16

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,
58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. Mk 14:57,58

12 And Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ went into the temple of God, Matt 21:12..Mk 11:15

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: Jn 2:14

15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove out them that sold and bought in the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; Jn 2:15..Mk 11:15..Matt 21:12

16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. Mk 11:16

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise. Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. Jn 2:16..Mk 11:17..Matt 21:13

18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. Mk 11:18

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. Jn 2:17

18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. Jn 2:18-22
