The Messiah had not been placed before a court, and charged with any crimes, and yet here, in Matthew 26:1-5 & John 11:55-57 are two groups of people, who are trying to capture him by subtlety and kill him!

And it happened, when Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ had finished some of his sayings, that he said to his disciples, You know that in two days it will be the feast of the passover, and [Matt 16:13] the son of man is betrayed up to be crucified.

Now in two days it was the Jews’ feast of unleavened bread, which is called the [pascha] Passover.

And many people went from the country to Jerusalem before the [pascha] passover, to [hagnizo] purify themselves.
And they looked for Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛  and they talked among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What do you think, that he wont come to the feast.

Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people [sunago] gathered together at the palace of Caiaphas the high priest, and they [sumbouleuo] talked together about how they [krateo] could lay hands upon Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ by [dolos] deceit, and kill him.

But they said, Not on the feast day, [hina me] so that there would not be a [thorubos] riot among the people, because they were frightened of the people.

Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples.

And he went on his way to the chief priests, and he [sullaleo] talked together with the chief priests and the captains, about how he could [paradidomi] deliver Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ to them.

And he said to them, What will you give me, and I will deliver him to you?

And when they heard what he said, they were glad, and they promised to give him thirty pieces of silver.

And he promised, and from that time on he [eukairia] watched Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛ and waited for the [eukairos] right time to [paradidomi] deliver him to them [ater] when the multitude of people were not around.

3 Then Judas, which had [paradidomi] betrayed him, when he saw that he was [katakrino..damn, condemn] condemned, [metamellomai..repent, regret] repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 Saying, I have [hamartano..offend, err, trespass, sin] sinned in that I have [paradidomi] betrayed the [athoos..innocent, guiltless] innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Matt 27:3-5

Then Judas, who had [paradidomi] delivered up Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, when he saw that he was [G2632 [(κατακρίνω katakrinō kat-ak-ree’-no)] From G2596 and G2919; to judge against, that’s, sentence: – condemn, damn.] damned, regretted what he had done, and he brought the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, and he said, I have [hamartano] offended because I have delivered up an innocent man. And they said, What is that to us: You see to that.

And he threw the thirty pieces of silver down in the temple, and he left, and went and [apagchomai.. hanged, strangled, choked himself] hanged himself.

Why did Judas Iscariot fall into condemnation?

Judas Iscariot was a thief who had been called to follow Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛. Judas had been put in charge of the money, but Judas did not care about the poor, and his love of money was probably greater than, his love for the innocent man, and Son of God, Yehôshûa‛ Yehôshûa‛, whom he betrayed! Jn 12:4-6..Matt 10:2,3..Lke 22:3-6

4 Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, which should betray him,
5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Jn 12:4-6

13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor. Lke 6:13-16

Judas Iscariot was a sinner..Lke 6:70,71..Jn 12:4-6

Devils live in sinners..Deut 28:26..Lke 8:5,12..Ephes 2:2..[3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot,]
Judas Iscariot was a devil..Jn 6:70,71
The devil lived in Judas Iscariot..Jn 13:27..Lke 22:3
The chief priests and the scribes and the elders were sinners
Mk 14:41-43
The chief priests and the scribes and the elders were devils in human form..Deut 28:26..Lke 8:5,12..Ephes 2:2..Jn 6:70,71..Jude 6-13..Jn 8:44
Judas Iscariot betrayed The Messiah to sinners..Mk 14:41
Judas Iscariot betrayed The Messiah to the chief priests..Lke 22:4..Lke 22:52..Mk 14:10..Matt 26:14..Jn 18:3 and Pharisees..Jn 18:3 and captains of the temple..Lke 22:4..Lke 22:52 and scribes..Mk 14:10..Matt 20:18 and elders..
Lke 22:52..Judas Iscariot betrayed The Messiah to the devil.

Judas Iscariot fell into condemnation because he committed sin when he betrayed The Messiah, an innocent man..Matt 27:4..into the hands of those who wanted to kill him.
