[Which, a study of the word hedge gives the impression they then joined together!] ([A study of Roman Soldiers might show, whether, or not, Roman Soldiers earned their crimson, bluish, and purple coloured cloaks. [The Soldiers, presenting The Messiah, and bestowing upon him, a purple robe, were mocking him.])

[Scourges had lashes upon them. G2438] The coat that The Messiah was wearing was one piece of knitted or woven material that being woven from the top, and having no seams, was long, and with possibly no sleeves, sat on his shoulders and fell down. [Cloaks such as that were probably worn by other Jews around about that time!]
